21 November 2006 Back from Chalet
oh finally, after the so called enjoyable chalet, I'm back, for more updates, about the chalet of course! 2 days I have spent, so...prepare the long long long blog this time. =)
Day 1
went to admiralty place and meet hj anthony jingxiang addinu and zul at 2.30pm, and then went to Bugis to further meet up with jason zh and valerie. and yea, surprisingly, we reached the chalet at about..4+ if my memory serves me right.
so, first thing we did was slack slack and slack, chatting, sleeping, watching tv. I slept there for 1 hour, in the kinda hot, air-conditioned room. farah ordered pizza, so we ate it, kind of like, dinner.
oh yea, first day people present were,
kangyuan, farah, dna, benny, rokiah, weiching, zul, addinu, me, hj, anthony, jx, alvin, cc, zh, jason, valerie (did i miss out anyone? hopefully not.)
so, we separated into 2 groups, 1 went to watch movie, the other stayed at the resort or wherever (I hav no idea) benny dna weiching rok ky and farah 1 gang, the rest were with me, and we went to watch movie at Tampines, Casino Royale.
seriously, I'm not really sure wat the heck happened, but its all about money. and I could only rmb the part, where James Bond had his 'balls' whacked hard. LOL! and that show took us a bloody 3 hours, guess what? it was already 11 or 12+ totally. and zul was acting James Bond. (turn around, finger point like a gun, "BANG") LOL!
Day 2 (after 12am)
we walked back to the mrt station, and the last train left when we reached juz nice...then omg how?! walking all the way back to pasir ris and to the resort was the only solution. (taxi? nah, expensive xD)
a long journey we walked, and becoz jx's leg was still on recovery, he walked a lil, and then for a short period of time, a few of us carried him back, and surprisingly he is quite heavy for a skinny guy. and yea we walked till pasir ris mrt station, went to 7-11 and bought some supper to eat. with a night guard on duty (who claims he is there frequently, in which I didnt really believed initially, but judging from how others greeted him, I seemed to believe a lil) and well, we chatted till we finished our supper.
back to the resort, and then rested, and the other grp of gang was back as well. it was alr midnight by then, and we played poker cards (daidee we would call it, no money at that time). till 3+, then we went to the beach, walking a longggggggggggg way, just becoz the side gates were locked -.-"
PS: (the 'we' refers to wc rok alvin cc addinu valerie zh jason benny and of coz, me, went to the beach that is.)
we hanged there till 4+ or 5+..not really sure, and I forgot what was next..playing cards again? I taught so..or was that bathing time (I DID bathe, but I forgot what time, so dun think I didnt bathe and smell like a smelly pig)
lets talk about dawn then, when the sun came up, jason and I were totally exhausted, we went to mac to buy breakfast, ate it back at the resort, and we slept for 1 hour. well, after that, off we go to Escape Theme Park!! (rok dna zul addinu jason zh val and me, yes, 8 people, I could rmb) from 10+ to ard 2pm..
the Escape Theme Park was a bad day for me, simply becoz, I hate the feeling of swinging around, my head was SPINNING OMG -.-" and we played,
Go-Kart (racing car la, but abit stupid)
Wet and Wild (yea, wet till I was totally drenched dammit)
Rainbow (swing like nobody business, I was kinda spinning away)
Haunted House (NOT SCARY AT ALL -.-)
and the other 2 more games, where it is spinning ard, like, upside down? I didnt took that, if I did, I would hav vomitted while on the ride.
yes, went to get the free tix to eat, while giving addinu the Carnival ticket to play mini games. he won 3 toys out of 4 I think, 2 games were kinda cheating (I dunno how to explain so dun bother to wonder)
went back to the resort then, and played poker cards , with money this time round, daidee again. 10+ rounds, I NEVER WON ONCE, and I lost alot $ to KY. ladyluck with him or? bleah I dunno. and well ard the late afternoon, here comes 2 people. beatrice and sylvia that is. I didnt notice till bbq started, since I was kind of like, sleeping during the bbq.
rok woke me up to eat some stuffs, and I ate them, and went back to sleep, but was kinda noisy..so couldnt really sleep. but watever, I went out to chat and eat then till 8+, chua and zulraidah arrived then. and oh yea, shi rui arrived soon after too I think. quite shocking to see the way she dressed, my eyes are not used to it, but I commented when I saw her, but aint gonna say what I commented of coz.
went to play blackjack this time rd, (alvin and beatrice were watching, then jason zh ky cc me and chua were playing) and once again, the lucky boy ky won hell alot. I lost $10+ in total, more than half lost to ky, LOL. but one thing I cant believe is that, they say $2 is big? its peanuts compared to how I gamble with my relatives every Chinese new year.
I lost quite badly initially, and I saw beatrice taking out her sweets and consuming it, I took the sweets from her twice, one returned right after taking it, the other taking it till the end of game. (the sweets recouped my loss I would say, so..safekept it and assumed it would act as my lucky charm? lol, ok maybe its stupid for you guys, but I'm supersticious about items that brings luck. and becoz we played kinda long, I ate quite alot for the sweets, hope she doesnt mind.) and oh yea, Thanks beatrice for the sweets anyway, didnt really get to thank you back there, or shld I say, we didnt even communicate, as usual.
well..it was 9+ then..went home with zh jason and valerie alr, and of coz, said our sincere goodbyes to the rest who were still there. and thats about it for my chalet..(not fully detailed, I couldnt remember every single thing la lol, but well, no regrets going there, FUN totally.)
