23 July 2007 - CIP + Celebrating ZH Bday
ok people, I've finally found the time to update the long post of Friday and Saturday, congrats to me. yes.
Friday was simply a long day, went to do CIP with my lovely classmates, packing stupid goodie bags and whatnot. it was exhausting. we finished the work at around 5+ or 6+..couldn't really remember, and then accompanied those who wanted to eat dinner at Marina Square. I didn't eat though, since I'm going somewhere else to eat later on. Kris ate alot that time, and we thought something was wrong with her lol. straight after that, we parted our ways, they went shopping, I went to Buona Vista and meet benghui and gang.
As usual, they were late. Freaking, Late. meeting at 8.30pm was already bad enough (because I was informed that we had to take bus which lasts for 30 min), they came at some 9pm. whats worse was, we took bus from Buona Vista, the bus took us back to Dover then to Ngee ann and in the end, back to Clementi area. I was already starving.
During the Bus ride. The two craziest friends I have.
At last, we reached the place..deserted place, a cafe named Tea Party. Zhenhong (birthday boy of the day) and KKY were already there waiting for us for long.
Thats the menu, and wow..the food there looked great and all, we had a great dinner, great service, the ambience there was fantastic, simply comfortable. this is one of the places I would recommend you guys to go.
alright that previous sentence was simply crap, I swear it. I'm just lying to myself, telling myself that that cafe was worth it..but well, fact is, its worse than throwing money into the big drain that is connected to rivers in Singapore. wanna know why?
The food there SUCKS, the service was WORSE, I WAITED FOR 2 FREAKING HOURS JUST FOR A SMALL PIZZA. we ordered the stuffs and 9+, mine came at 11+
I. HAD. MY. FUCKING. DINNER. AT. SOME. SUPPER. TIME.
the drinks there. I swear even the coffee flavoured bubble teas are better than their coffee and whatnot.
The only thing I can comment positively is the Ambience, its really great, but well..the rest simply turned me off. and oh, I spent $13 there, I swear I would never step into that place to eat again, if not I would throw 10 times the amount I spend into the drain each time I visit.
nonetheless, all the craps we talked about and all, it was fun but it would be kinda perfect if the food and service there was much better -_-

Saturday
after 2 hours or so..I woke up, 4 in the morning lalala~ (sing the gwen stefani song with me woo!). Fun. on. Foot event. yeah Fun. my. Foot event. You heard me.
took the first train to raffles, met jamie chithrra and dingrui on train. waited for some people who arrived late. then went to the white stamford for briefing. off we scattered to our own areas. the girls were all at the registration corner (which is white raffles), while we the guys (except two who were stationed to esplanade) were outside the supreme court.
two actors, one acting Stamford, the other acting Tungku. its all about history, and I dun wish to elaborate. (you people should know what happened if you remembered what you studied in lower sec)
just a short mute skit, they had to repeat the skit for 7 times, can you imagine how boring they would get?

we camped at that place from morning till afternoon, and almost everyone had slept for at least 1 hour back there. played and then packed and off we went home. SHAGGED !
