17 June 2007 - Granado Espada Raid Party at Zouk
June 16 a boring Saturday.
I went to zouk with haikel matthew cc and alvin, to attend the Granado Espada raid party (because someone among the 4 is pestering the rest of us to go. I guess 4E1 readers shld know who is the most childish among them)
well, we took mrt to clark quay first, and guess what? we were a little lost, like "where the hell exactly is zouk eh? clark quay area? like where? WHERE?!" ok we are noobs, because we dun go clubbing, so we have no idea where zouk is, and so we resorted to a cab there, a $4 trip.
we reached there and well, the place was flooded with people like a bunch of ants in a small hole. there were cosplay, in which several people (mostly girls) dressed into the GE costumes. er, there were no babes, maybe only one from FHM, sitting at a platform somewhere near the stage. shes hot and all, and some of the guys there were like taking photos with her. I think CC and alvin almost had their eyes popped out since they spotted quite a few babes there, and I wasn't paying much attention because I went there just to kill time and stay away from my home, not to ogle at girls (and please, I don't pay much attention to girls outside is not because I'm gay. totally not.)
we got out of that dumb place within 2 hours, and headed to our long-time-ago hangout place. cuppage plaza. had lunch there, the shop named Orchard tian tang something 1. FUCKING SCAMMER SHOP. SCREW THAT SHOP AND I HOPE THAT SHOP BUSTS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I should had eaten at Isle cafe (which is 1 floor above that god damn screwed up shop), but there was no empty seats around..and we were all starving, and we resorted to eating at the orchard tian tang something, just to realise we got scammed, badly. I swear I will never go that shop ever, because I ordered fish n chips, the fried fish, when pressed with my fork, I could see at least 5 to 10 ml of oil flowing out, and the fish pieces are like 1/3 the size of the usual fish pieces outside offered, and it cost a bloody $5.
it was still early, roughly 5pm, and we went LAN to waste money (I didn't want to go, but CC was asking non stop so I gave up) 2 hours and a half. it was 8pm soon and thus, we headed home. from somerset to marina bay (we took the marina bay line and reverse so that we could sit), I was awake, but then onwards, I fell asleep..all the way to YCK, half awake at that time, until yishun then I was officially awake.
Going out is to kill time, as well as making my wallet burst a hole, which makes me need to save longer to buy a new phone..ahhh whatever.
I'm just so not happy now, alicia you shld know why. =\
