`Many Taught Me Sins and Rage, Several Taught Me Endurance, A Few Gave Me Light

went serangoon for dinner with a small group of peeps whom I've never met for quite some time. Winston the organiser, together with CC, Alvin, Matthew, Huijie, Zhenjie, Clinton and me.

clinton was late, so we hanged around at AMK hub first, and its boring because there ain't many shops there. and off we went when he arrived after a longggggg time. we took the bus, and on the way there, some inconsiderate Indian teens (roughly 6 of them) sat in front of the 8 of us, and then one of them blasted their phone speaker loudly. they seriously got no manners. bunch of..whatever. Inconsiderate.

8+pm when we reached our destination, freaking late for a dinner time, plus peak period for dinner, and hell, there were so many people eating until those who just came had no place to even move around the area. (its somesort of like a hawker centre btw). my prediction came right, and it took us nearly 45 minutes before we could secure 8 seats. 1 table has 4 chairs, linked with another table, so up to 8 seats in total. we took 4, and when we were about to occupy the other 4, some fucking bastards took up our seats when some of us had already been standing there. one of them asked whether if we were waiting for the seats, and I said we got 8 people here. the other guy from their group kp-ed and said "they sit there what"

do they understand what is meant by E-I-G-H-T people? they think 8 people can sit on 4 chairs and 1 table. god damn blind bat I swear, and a deaf one indeed. we went to look for other seats and wait and wait and wait like nobody business again until we found a place for everyone to sit together.

we ate stingrays, lala, sotong and so on. no pics taken this time round. and there were drinks, we ordered sugar cane , $3 for a gigantic cup. roughly $13 per person for the whole dinner cost. the food there is great, so probably you people may want to head there for dinner (but better be early, or you will have to wait and wait for seats and probably meet some bastards who steal seats along the way)

Its not a matter of how often you hang out, but the people you hang out with that creates the fun, making the day enjoyable.

Matthew - I appreciate your efforts and sacrifices for sparing the time to specially come out and eat with us. you know what I mean. hahaha
