went serangoon for dinner with a small group of peeps whom I've never met for quite some time. Winston the organiser, together with CC, Alvin, Matthew, Huijie, Zhenjie, Clinton and me.
clinton was late, so we hanged around at AMK hub first, and its boring because there ain't many shops there. and off we went when he arrived after a longggggg time. we took the bus, and on the way there, some inconsiderate Indian teens (roughly 6 of them) sat in front of the 8 of us, and then one of them blasted their phone speaker loudly. they seriously got no manners. bunch of..whatever. Inconsiderate.
8+pm when we reached our destination, freaking late for a dinner time, plus peak period for dinner, and hell, there were so many people eating until those who just came had no place to even move around the area. (its somesort of like a hawker centre btw). my prediction came right, and it took us nearly 45 minutes before we could secure 8 seats. 1 table has 4 chairs, linked with another table, so up to 8 seats in total. we took 4, and when we were about to occupy the other 4, some fucking bastards took up our seats when some of us had already been standing there. one of them asked whether if we were waiting for the seats, and I said we got 8 people here. the other guy from their group kp-ed and said "they sit there what"
do they understand what is meant by E-I-G-H-T people? they think 8 people can sit on 4 chairs and 1 table. god damn blind bat I swear, and a deaf one indeed. we went to look for other seats and wait and wait and wait like nobody business again until we found a place for everyone to sit together.
we ate stingrays, lala, sotong and so on. no pics taken this time round. and there were drinks, we ordered sugar cane , $3 for a gigantic cup. roughly $13 per person for the whole dinner cost. the food there is great, so probably you people may want to head there for dinner (but better be early, or you will have to wait and wait for seats and probably meet some bastards who steal seats along the way)
Its not a matter of how often you hang out, but the people you hang out with that creates the fun, making the day enjoyable.
Matthew - I appreciate your efforts and sacrifices for sparing the time to specially come out and eat with us. you know what I mean. hahaha

summarising 12 chapters of a module is insane. thank god I summarised 4 or 5 chapters during that MST period, and today I did the rest. about 12 pages of blank papers full of words.
In other words, I look just like this poor thing below
I hope I can remember as much stuffs as possible. Just because I did better that time in MST doesn't mean that I will do as well for this final paper. Its Luck.

I can't really sleep well when I get nightmares often. I can't concentrate at all, and I've lost the heart to even study.
Memorising all 12 chapters for the module is sickening. worse thing is I never listen for that module at all.

I spent a few hours scribbling sheets of paper on the PNID for plant design. it takes lots of energy having to memorise loads of areas. perhaps remembering the WHOLE diagram at 1 go is really tough..so perhaps, splitting them up into 3 parts would be easier.
I feel proud that I can roughly draw the PNID out now..so probably I can secure about 25 marks out of the 30? and then comes the theory and all probably.
I hope I can do well this time, I dont wanna fail myself.

06 February 2009 - Have You Got Baffled?
when its ownage and you are getting beaten up badly, simply put getting owned, - people say "YOU GOT OWNED"
I'm not talking about whether I got owned or not, but what I wanna talk about today is the FMB Baffle assignment given to me. there are alot of mixing and types of baffles, applications and all that I didn't understand a bit. worse still, the data there are all so complicated that I understood nothing.
so all these baffles (a static device) and mixing, really got me baffled (confused) and mixed up indeed.
in simple terms - these baffles are making me baffled, and the many mixings got me mixed up.
I got baffled and mixed, by the assignment. I wonder who else got into the same situation as I do. probably no one, since I'm dumb. lol

05 February 2009 - Damned Format
my laptop is irritating me all over my body. I spent the entire day in school to fix my comp, and now the data in C drives are gone ! NO MORE GAMES !
yeah so damn it. I had a bad day today, because I didn't do my assignment, my flu got worse, and I didn't eat till 6+pm thanks to the laptop. now heres a sequence o what happened from 10am till 6pm today
did some stupid stuffs to my laptop (snap restore) and the SP user got deleted. went to asked Singlong for help and borrowed Chui Yu's charger and went to the School's PC service centre frantically (T1474) and then they told me to go the self cert area there (T2248) to get my SD domain back.
did the procedures, OS got corrupted, and so theres this auto shutdown spree, and so I headed back to T1474 for help, and it got worse. this time round, CANT BOOT UP AT ALL? I didn't back up my C drive files because I didn't have a portable harddisk with me, so whats next? they told me to try get another laptop and put my harddisk into that laptop for backup, and I called CC. headed to T12, collect laptop from him, then back to T1474, and IT FAILED ! Advice from T1474 staffs = Reformat..no choice. so I went back to T12 to return laptop -_-!!
so screwed, and went back to T2248, and then formatted, surprisingly, OS still got problem, and I formatted twice, wasted 1 hour in total. meanwhile I rushed back below the MRT station to return CY's charger, and then back to that very cold place. FORTUNATELY, the format was a success and my laptop revived !
and WTF it was alr near 5.30pm by then. so GG-ed
stayed in school till 6+pm transferring some files, download stuffs etc then went home with CC and Matt.
so today, practically got me screwed upside down deep in and out. in the air con room + running around the whole day = worse flu. now I'm losing voice. fever next I guess?
thanks to those who showed their concern. I'll take good care of myself these few days. =)

01 February 2009 - Complicated Life, Gather Once More
my CNY celebration will end today - Ren Ri. cooped up at home the whole day, because the rest of the buds went to work etc, so I was bored to death, or rather busy rushing up the rest of the piles of work to be done.
presentation yesterday was a screwed up. I find it pointless when the 10 presentations, are all complicated stuffs that can aint easy to understand. people can play poker cards while the presentation was going on, play their gadgets and sleep. I bet almost everyone ain't listening hard to the presentations, that includes me of course because all I did there was daydreaming, or sleeping away.
and because of spending the whole day in school, I did not get to see the kids. WR was telling me how active they were and all. @!#$%
JAE posting was out on friday - I hope everyone got into the courses / JC they wanted =)
the time is up now, the guys are on the way to shirui's house now to "Lao Yu Sheng"
so I guess I shall be off for now too.
my life is sometimes so complicated to the extent I can't differentiate truths and facades.
